What is the role?
As a Data Migration Coordinator part of the Data Migration Team, you will be responsible for onboarding new clients to MerusCase by managing their data migration from start to finish. To ensure the most successful transition of our clients’ data into the MerusCase software you will utilize the Data Migration Coordination Protocol and help create, update, and manage the internal and external protocols for the data migration process as needed, based on insightful feedback for improvement. You will work closely with the data migration engineer(s) and Customer Success Trainer(s) to guarantee a smooth onboarding process. As a byproduct of this role, you will also become the “voice of customer” - working closely with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to clearly communicate customer feedback that will help define our company roadmap.
In this role, you will:
- Remote access into client servers to obtain data; transfer data into company server via SSH
- Internal review and analysis of client data, in addition to routine data reviews with client stakeholders
- Perform initial on-boarding of firms - ensuring strong adoption, and successful transition (post-migration) to the rest of the Customer Success Team.
- During data migration, maintain proactive engagement with the firm’s point of contact(s) to further understand their needs and provide that feedback to the internal stakeholders; assess any areas of opportunity to meet the client’s needs.
- Routine post-migration check-ins with the firm’s point of contact to ensure transition is completed successfully. Address any reported migration issues in collaboration with the appointed Data Migration Engineer.
- Work closely with the internal stakeholders to share customer insights on how we convert clients and improve our onboarding processes for future clientele.
- Provide customer insight to the Product and Customer Success teams to gain a better understanding of client needs, ensure rapid adoption, increased renewals, and referrals for future customers.
- Offer insightful feedback that will encourage updates to the Migration Coordination Process.
- Management of appropriate tools/software as it relates to the data migration coordination process. Examples include, but not limited to:
- Salesforce Migration Page, Migration Calendar, etc.
- Migration Timelines and Schedules
- Up-to-date communications between all internal stakeholders via Slack migration channels, Jira ticket updates, and internal migration meetings.
- Prompt and clear communication between you and all relevant parties
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience Customer Success or Account Management experience
- Strong technical aptitude; willingness and ability to learn new software
- Ability to train in the virtual setting
- Ability to maintain data integrity
- Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
- Experience in the legal or consulting industry is a plus
- Linux Command Line (ability to navigate through servers) is a plus
