We are seeking a Community Growth & Enagagement Specialist that will will grow, engage, and champion Wantableâs communities across Reddit, StackOverflow, Substack, and other interest-driven platforms where meaningful conversations shape brand trust. About The Role You will report directly to the Social, Affiliate, and Community Manager and operate with significant independence, using AI-enhanced workflows to scale engagement, monitor sentiment, and identify high-value conversations. Youâll collaborate with our Customer Service and Stylist teams to produce content, answer questions, and build authenticity through expert participation. You will also help run live and interactive community experiences, including AMAs, video streams, and podcast participation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast, low-bureaucracy environments, loves fashion and retail, and knows how to build credibility in online communities customers actually trust. What You'll Own Own Community Growth Across Expert & Interest Platforms Manage and expand Wantableâs presence across Reddit, StackOverflow, Substack, Quora Spaces, and similar community channels. Identify key subreddits, threads, and communities where Wantable customers and potential customers naturally gather. Engage authentically using both your voice and team-generated content while protecting brand integrity. AI-Accelerated Monitoring, Moderation & Scaling Deploy and refine AI tools to flag trends, sentiment shifts, influencers, and conversion opportunities. Build workflows that automate first-pass moderation and categorization while keeping high-impact conversations human-led. Continuously improve prompts, tagging systems, and monitoring dashboards. Content & Collaboration w/ CS + Style Team Coordinate with the Customer Service team and Stylist team to produce answers, style advice, behind-the-scenes posts, expert commentary, and community-specific content. Create short content briefs to help internal teams contribute efficiently and consistently. Ensure tone, accuracy, and fashion expertise reflect Wantableâs brand voice. Live & Interactive Community Experiences Plan and run AMAs, livestreams, expert panels, fit/styling Q&As, and cross-platform community events. Support podcast participationâguest prep, topic selection, post-episode community engagement, and repurposing clips for community channels. Reputation & Insight Loops Track sentiment, user concerns, and trending conversations across niche platforms. Surface insights weekly to Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to inform new features, content, and messaging. Partner with the Social, Affiliate, and Community Manager to ensure community efforts align with broader strategy. Requirements What You Bring 2+ years in community management, online moderation, social engagement, or user-driven platform work. Experience engaging in communities like Reddit, forums, Substack comments, or GitHub-style spaces. Strong written communication with an authentic, human tone. Ability to make fast, independent decisions without waiting for layers of approval. Comfort using AI tools for monitoring, summarizing, generating drafts, or scaling workflows. A love for fashion, style, and helping people discover confidence through apparel. Pattern-recognition skills to spot emerging conversations early. Thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven, low-bureaucracy environment. You'll Thrive Here If You Have experience in fashion, DTC, ecommerce, or apparel-driven communities. Familiarity with sentiment tools, community analytics platforms, automation frameworks, or API-based tools. Comfort participating in live audio/video formats, streams, or podcasts.
