Job Title: Industrial Spray Painter
Location: Louisa, VA
Duration: Full Time, Contract to Hire
Shift: 7AM to 3:30PM (Monday to Friday)
Salary: $ (depending on skills and experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Spray Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying various coatings, such as epoxy and enamels, to industrial equipment and components. This role offers competitive compensation for individuals with the ability to produce high-quality finishes and ensure proper surface preparation and application techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
- Spray Painting: Apply coatings, including epoxy, enamels, and other industrial paints, using spray equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean spray equipment to ensure proper operation and longevity.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an industrial spray painter.
- Proficiency in applying various coatings, including epoxy and enamels.
- Ability to prepare surfaces for painting and ensure proper application techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and handling of hazardous materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
