Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team in Chennai. You’ll design and build scalable backend services and AI-driven integrations using Python and FastAPI, working closely with our frontend team to deliver enterprise-grade applications.

You’ll own backend modules end-to-end, mentor mid-level engineers, and play a key role in system design and performance optimization. While not mandatory, familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor, VS Code AI plugins) is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend services & APIs (FastAPI, async).
• Integrate with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.).
• Ensure performance, scalability, and secure architecture.
• Implement auth (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC) and database optimizations.
• Collaborate with React frontend team for seamless integration.
• Mentor and review code for junior/mid developers.

Requirements:

• 7–9 years in Python backend development.
• Strong expertise in Python 3.x, FastAPI, async/await.
• Hands-on with DBs (Postgres/MySQL), Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud.
• Experience in API/system design and performance tuning.

Bonus: worked with AI-assisted IDEs or LLM APIs
