Description At Perry Weather, weâre building the leading weather safety platform that helps organizations make fast, confident decisions when weather threatens people and operations. Thousands of schools, cities, golf courses, and industrial teams rely on our software + on-site hardware to monitor real-time conditions, automate alerts, and stay compliant with weather policies. We're scaling the team and looking for a Product Designer to help bring our next phase of growth to life. Youâll take ideas from rough concepts all the way to shipped features, shaping the user experience across our platform. This role is perfect for a product generalist with equal parts craft, systems, and strategy. Youâll design workflows that account for real-world complexity, level up our design systems, and partner tightly with PMs and engineers to deliver solutions that delight users while driving measurable impact. Responsibilities: Own end-to-end UX/UI designs, from early concepts through shipped product features. Create and maintain a scalable design system and component library that accelerates engineering and ensures consistency. Balance speed and quality by using deep Figma knowledge and AI prototyping to iterate quickly without sacrificing taste. Design not just the âhappy path,â but comprehensive workflows and edge cases that reduce engineering rework and fully anticipate user needs. Partner with PMs and engineers to define problems, frame solutions, and deliver on business and customer goals. Conduct user research, discovery calls, and usability tests to inform design decisions. Write clear, thoughtful copy across the product, recognizing that words are design too. Help shape Perry Weatherâs design voice both in-product and across customer-facing touchpoints. QA and test releases to ensure we ship high-quality product improvements. Requirements What you bring: 4+ years of product design experience (B2B SaaS strongly preferred). Proven ability to design complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces. Mastery of Figma, including advanced features (components, tokens, auto layout). Experience building and operationalizing design systems tied to front-end frameworks (React, MUI, etc.). Strong product thinking: ability to balance user delight with solving customer pain and driving revenue. Fluency in UX research methods and ability to directly engage with users. Exceptional attention to detail with ability to anticipate edge cases and accessibility needs. Strong writing and communication skills, you value copy as much as visuals. Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment with minimal oversight. Benefits Casual work environment. We're located in the vibrant Dallas Oak Lawn neighborhood. As a note, our entire team is in office M-F, which allows us to move fast and maintain a standout culture. Comprehensive benefits. We offer competitive health insurance plans, 401(k) with employer matching, and a suite of voluntary benefits. Engaging culture. Monthly All-Hands, fun events like Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. Grow with us. Weâre growing rapidly, and yet we have a massive amount of work and opportunity ahead. We are looking for difference-makers. This role has high visibility and real influence - youâll get to directly shape the future of Perry Weather. Apply for this job
