The faculty supports FVI in general and the school of nursing, in the fulfillment of its mission, by extensively focusing on facilitating student learning, and educating compassionate and caring individuals who are eligible and prepared to sit for the State License Exam (NCLEX-RN) following graduation. Furthermore, the faculty provides professional leadership and support and an educator, mentor and facilitator, to promote an educational environment where students will be actively engaged. This instruction includes program specific expertise and participation in student learning activities to maximize student potential. The faculty assures compliance, high academic integrity and supports the school of nursing in programmatic accreditation, student learning outcomes, graduate outcomes, and placement. The Anatomy & Physiology Instructor will teach foundational coursework for our Practical Nursing students. The instructor will deliver engaging lectures, facilitate lab learning, and help students develop a strong understanding of the human body and its physiological systems. This is an on-campus, part-time teaching position ideal for an experienced educator or healthcare professional who enjoys mentoring future nurses. Key Responsibilities Teach Anatomy & Physiology courses within the Practical Nursing program curriculum. Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, demonstrations, and laboratory sessions. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support academic success. Maintain accurate attendance and grade records in compliance with institutional standards. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning. Collaborate with program leadership and faculty to enhance course delivery and outcomes. Requirements Qualifications Master’s Degree in Nursing, Biological Science, or a closely related field with substantial professional experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology. Completion of at least 15 semester credits in Anatomy & Physiology or closely related coursework (combined bachelor’s and master’s level accepted). Minimum of three (3) years of teaching or professional experience in healthcare, biological sciences, or nursing education. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and related laboratory concepts. Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
