About the Role Weâre looking for a Finance Director to lead the financial, administrative, and human resources functions that keep our organization healthy and thriving. This role oversees the full accounting cycle, supports the people and systems that drive our operations, and partners with leadership to ensure sound financial strategy and a great team member experience. The Finance Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer and supervise the Office Manager. Itâs a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys both strategic planning and detailed execution. What Youâll Be Doing Finance Oversee the full accounting cycle with accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports to inform leadership decisions. Troubleshoot vendor and customer accounting issues as needed. Lead and support the Office Manager, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment. Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial institutions. Human Relations Oversee all aspects of the team member experienceâfrom recruiting and onboarding to development and offboarding. Serve as administrator for the companyâs HR and people systems, ensuring accurate records, workflows, and reporting. Negotiate and manage benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and other team perks. Lead the performance review cycle and ensure consistency in feedback and development processes. Administer payroll with accuracy and compliance. Administration Supervise office management and administrative operations. Oversee facilities, supplies, and company calendar. Ensure DOT compliance for company operations. Support additional administrative and logistical needs across the organization. Position Requirements 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or administration (HR experience strongly preferred). Proven ability to manage financial systems and processes with precision. Demonstrated leadership skills, including supervision and cross-departmental collaboration. Proficiency with accounting software- Quickbooks Online- and Google Drive. Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (relevant experience considered). Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
