Job Summary 

  Responsible for supervising the contracted security team, patrolling and protecting property against theft, vandalism, and illegal activities. Collecting, analyzing and reporting related information on security, health & safety. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Security & Access Control

• Manage access permissions and identification systems

• Monitor CCTV and Fire Systems; report and investigate incidents

• Supervise security vendors and property management personnel

• Audit premises and employees for policy compliance

Facilities & Maintenance Support

• Coordinate maintenance of generators, water, air systems, and pest control

• Monitor air and water quality, inspect vendors, and manage inventory

• Track company property and assets

Emergency Response & Health & Safety

• Respond to medical and fire emergencies

• Maintain records of security, fire, and safety incidents

Transportation & Logistics

• Create and manage bus schedules; coordinate with providers and staff

• Ensure maintenance, safety, and compliance of company and vendor vehicles

• Investigate and follow up on transportation incidents

Lost & Found

• Manage and execute Lost & Found procedures

Qualifications

• Secondary education (CXC, CSEC) or post-secondary certificate
• Two years’ experience in the security field
• Security system technician certification

Key Competencies

• Intermediate computer skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of health & safety regulations and emergency procedures
• Strong attention to detail and risk assessment skills
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
