- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, relays, and more
- Maintain positive working relationships across all the operations facility
- Track and store department inventory
- Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Works full time with varying shifts, primary schedule may be between 12:00 and 8:00 PM
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Must have ability to reach arms above head, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work including walking 6 to 12 miles per day
- Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
- Regularly required to type on a computer or stand-up desk and for 1-2 hours per day
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions
