Are you passionate about video games and fluent in both Japanese and English? We’re looking for a skilled Freelance Translator/Interpreter to support a project starting November 2025 through 2026 (3-6 months duration). Responsibilities Translate written materials (emails, documents, creative content, explanations) between Japanese and English for video game projects Occasionally provide live interpreting support for meetings or discussions Maintain full availability during PST business hours (8-hour window) Workload may vary; must remain on standby and respond promptly when needed Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural nuance in all game-related communications and content Requirements Japanese/English bilingual Proven experience in translation or localization, ideally within the gaming or entertainment industry Excellent writing and communication skills in both languages Strong cultural awareness and ability to convey nuance naturally Reliable availability and quick response during Pacific time Apply for this job
