First National Bank of America is seeking a methodical and collaborative IT Change and Compliance Coordinator to join the Information Technology team. The IT Change and Compliance Coordinator helps IT Operations deliver technology changes safely, consistently, and in line with standards. This role splits time between change management responsibilities (coordinating releases, facilitating CAB, enforcing change processes) and compliance support (documentation, audit preparation, and monitoring adherence to IT procedures). The analyst partners with Infrastructure & IT Operations staff as well Software Development, serving as both a guide and, when necessary, a gatekeeper to reduce risk and improve reliability.

Responsibilities:

Change Management (approx. 50%)

  •  Support release management activities, including scheduling, documentation, and cross-team coordination
  •  Track change approvals, monitor release calendars, and escalate risks or conflicts
  •  Coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) communications and meetings, maintain agendas, record outcomes, and ensure communication of decisions
  •  Enforce change management standards and empowered to block changes/releases that do not meet established requirements

Compliance Support (approx. 50%)

  •  Monitor adherence to IT policies, standards, and procedures; escalate non-compliance when necessary
  •  Support documentation and tracking of BCP testing activities to demonstrate readiness and compliance
  •  Maintain process documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  •  Support internal audit requests by collecting, organizing, and validating evidence

Qualifications:

  • Up to 3 years of experience in IT operations, compliance, or service management (internships or academic project experience welcome)
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts (change and release management) preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable balancing collaborative support with enforcement when required
