Web Application Manual Tester
The Krazy Coupon Lady is seeking a skilled Web Application Manual Tester to develop testing procedures and documentation for our website and mobile apps (iOS and Android). The ideal candidate will write and execute test procedures and help establish standardized workflows for projects from initial development to bug testing, deployment, and verification.
This is a full-time remote position with a Monday-Friday work week.
KCL will currently consider applicants who reside in the following states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Wisconsin.
In this role you will
- Possess knowledge of website, IOS, and Android app testing strategies and methodologies.
- Deliver clear and concise feedback on test results, including bugs, usability issues, and cause-and-effect relationships.
- Maintain and monitor test devices, ensuring they are updated and upgraded as needed.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing to ensure the quality of our applications.
- Manually execute test cases across different platforms.
- Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, ensuring they are tracked and resolved using the bug tracking tool (JIRA), providing comprehensive information for developers to resolve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical certification in a computer or web related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Familiarity with SDLC, testing methodologies, and the role of QA in the process.
- 3-5 years of experience in QA skills, including:
- Test planning
- Writing test specifications
- Ad hoc and planned test execution
- Bug isolation & Troubleshooting
- Bug reporting
- Experience testing across multiple industry-standard browsers and devices, including Windows, Mac, and mobile.
- Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and coding languages to assist in debugging and test case creation.
- Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, TestRail, Qase.io for reporting, tracking defects, and test case management.
- Capacity to clearly communicate ideas and address inquiries from colleagues and management.
- Ability to manage time and work effectively with other team members.
- Working familiarity with Playwright and TypeScript: able to read, interpret, and understand automated test flows, even if not writing them.
- Experience working alongside automation frameworks and contributing to a shared QA coverage model.

- Knowledge of web design and web programming
