Site Assessment Specialist - 80% Travel

Daniels is seeking a Site Assessment Specialist to conduct waste assessments at new and prospective customer sites. You’ll gather site-specific data to support upcoming program implementations, analyze findings, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. This role involves extensive travel (80%+) and requires identifying risks that could impact successful implementation. Attention to detail, accountability, and strong communication skills are essential for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring program success.

After use, we professionally clean and sanitize each container for reuse, while responsibly disposing of medical waste at our treatment facilities. Our closed-loop system ensures safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility for our customers.

What You'll Do:

    • Travel extensively (80%+) to customer sites to assess medical waste programs.
    • Collect and analyze site-specific data, including container tracking and measurements.
    • Identify staging and storage areas for service stock and installation products.
    • Evaluate data to recommend efficiency improvements and flag risks for implementation.
    • Obtain measurements and pictures of staging and storage areas as needed.
    • Support installation teams as needed and perform additional duties.

Must-Have Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience in a healthcare environment, medical waste or EVS.
    • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accountability.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
    • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, specifically Excel.
    • Willingness to travel 80%+ with overnight stays.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Experience with solid waste or shredding programs.
    • Advanced organizational and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and limited data.

Work Environment:

    • Regular air travel and overnight stays required
    • Extended periods of time on your feet walking customer sites 
    • Regularly spends time in a healthcare environment at acute care facilities
    • Work from home office when not traveling

$64,869 - $80,127 a year
The pay range for this position is $64,869 to $80,127 salary. Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors unique to each candidate, such as prior experience, skill, certifications, and work location. Pay variations by location reflect local conditions and differences in the cost of labor.
