Description The Loan Servicing Specialist works closely with existing Small Business owners/borrowers across the United States and is primarily responsible for analyzing and presenting complex Small Business transactions to Management for decision. The Loan Servicing Specialist requires effective communication with a variety of Small Businesses. This role demands direct communication with stake holders and managing relationships to properly analyze a transaction and deliver a strong recommendation that facilitates both the Small Businessâs and the Bankâs goals. Data gathering and analysis is a major function of the role and the ideal candidate must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to supply the best recommendations. This position is only for Utah based candidates. The position offers a competitive salary and the following is a list of tasks you may be asked to complete, but not limited to: Tasks: Gather, review, and analyze documentation consisting of financial, legal, and strategic bases of Small Businesses. Analyze financial statements and determine Small Business strength versus liabilities. Review borrowerâs business plan and strategies to highlight and mitigate risk within a transaction. Correspond and work with third party resources to gather effective data, such as attorneys and appraisers, to provide potential solutions. Judge borrower requests and prepare a recommendation that is justified by sound evidence. Present findings to the Servicing Committee. Loan restructuring and modifications. Small Business Administration related tasks. Customer service-related tasks. Attend team meetings and trainings. Other tasks and projects as assigned. Requirements Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent banking experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to thrive in stressful circumstances Strong organizational skills. Outgoing personality with the ability to properly resolve borrower concerns. Previous experience in finance, banking and/or commercial lending preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships. Physical and Other Requirements This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Mobility: The employee in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Communicate: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and will frequently communicate with others. Must be able to read, write and understand fluent English. Work Model: The employee in this position will work either a fully Onsite or Hybrid work model. All employees, regardless of location, may be required to travel to the Salt Lake City office for mandatory company meetings, events, or related occasions.
