We’re looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Insurance Benefit Verification Coordinator to play a vital role in our REACH Medicare IDE Study. In this position, you’ll ensure that study site partners and their patients experience a seamless insurance and billing process for the Galleri® multi-cancer early detection test.

Responsibilities:

    • Verify Benefits with Precision: Partner with study sites to confirm insurance and benefit details for patients participating in the REACH study, including performing batch verification checks within our systems.
    • Provide Real-Time Support: Deliver prompt and professional phone support during business hours, assisting sites with immediate benefit inquiries and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
    • Be a Trusted Partner: Serve as a go-to expert for site partners, offering clear, empathetic, and accurate guidance on insurance, billing, and benefit-related questions.
    • Maintain Data Accuracy: Help manage and update patient demographic and insurance data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a smooth workflow for study partners.
    • Support Claims Processes: Contribute to related tasks involving Medicare and Medicare Advantage benefits, claims, and reimbursements.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Exceptional Communication Skills: You excel at explaining complex insurance details clearly, both verbally and in writing.
    • Customer-Centric Mindset: You’re passionate about providing outstanding service and ensuring positive experiences for every partner.
    • Insurance Expertise: Hands-on experience verifying eligibility with major insurance carriers (e.g., Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Medicare, Medicaid).
    • Comprehensive Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of insurance plans—Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, PPO, HMO, and others.
    • Technical Agility: Comfortable navigating insurance verification systems, maintaining accurate records, and managing data efficiently.

    • Work Schedule
    • Full-time position: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $50K-$59K for NC. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location. 

Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan. We also offer a long-term incentive plan to align company and colleague success over time.
