Our easy-to-use online tools help school districts manage everything related to students, such as student records, support programs, special education, and analyzing important data. We believe that by making data easier to use and simplifying processes, schools can save time and focus more on helping students succeed. We are looking for a flexible and creative Marketing Manager to help promote our online products. You will be the go-to person for marketing our software, sharing ideas about the best ways to reach schools, and getting things done. We want someone who is proactive, skilled in many areas of marketing, and passionate about education. You will handle tasks like attracting new customers, supporting sales teams, creating content for different channels, and more. You will be part of a small, talented marketing team that works closely together. You will also work with our service team and report to the Marketing Director, who oversees our overall marketing strategy. You will collaborate with leaders in sales and product development to turn our software’s features into stories that connect with school administrators and decision-makers. This is a great chance to be the main person responsible for marketing our online products. Your work will help shape the company’s growth and make a real difference in schools, teachers, and students. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with company leaders without unnecessary rules and restrictions. Requirements · Work with leadership to plan how we introduce our products to the market, set goals for the year and quarter, and develop a marketing plan to help increase sales and grow our business. · Create and run marketing campaigns through different channels like email, search engines, webinars, social media, and trade shows. Track how well these campaigns perform and whether they give a good return on investment. · Write clear and engaging content such as blog posts, case studies, and white papers that speak directly to school district leaders like Superintendents, Curriculum Assistants, Technology Chiefs, and Special Education Directors. · Help our sales team by creating useful tools like presentation decks, quick info sheets, email templates, and materials for trade shows such as banners, brochures, and table coverings. · Update and manage the parts of our website and social media accounts related to our products to increase brand recognition and connect with the K-12 school community. · Work with the Services Marketing team to manage the tools and technology we use for marketing, like marketing automation, customer relationship management (CRM), and analytics, making sure they are used correctly across our company. · Partner with the Services Marketing team and other key people to make sure our branding—how we sound, look, and communicate—is consistent across all aspects of Mindex's products and messaging. Education & Experience: You have proven experience working as a versatile marketer, handling different areas like creating content, managing digital campaigns, generating interest, and promoting products. You have excellent writing and communication skills, able to craft clear and engaging messages for a professional audience, such as teachers and educators. You are a self-motivated individual who stays organized, works independently, and can establish new processes quickly, even in a fast-paced setting. You are familiar with marketing tools and systems like HubSpot to monitor how well campaigns are doing and to support sales efforts. You think with data in mind, tracking important numbers and sharing reports on how marketing efforts are performing and providing value. You have experience creating helpful materials for sales teams, such as success stories, comparisons of competitors, and presentation decks used to close sales. Highly Preferred: Experience working in educational technology for K-12 schools, especially with systems that manage student information, support student success, special education, data analysis, and system integrations Experience promoting products or services to school district leaders and understanding the lengthy process of selling to government organizations Basic skills in design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to make simple graphics and marketing materials Skills & Competencies: Someone who works well with others and is proactive, able to guide team efforts through influence in a fast-moving, cross-team environment. Someone who is customer-focused, curious and empathetic, always striving to understand the needs and challenges of the people we serve. Someone with a good business sense, able to connect marketing efforts directly to goals like generating leads, increasing success rates, and boosting sales. Comfortable using research, performance data, and testing to make informed decisions and ensure strategies are effective. Highly creative with strong critical thinking skills. Has a good eye for design and a love for great writing and clear communication. Very organized, skilled at setting goals, managing multiple projects at once, and paying close attention to details. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role; and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The role has a base salary range of $60,0000 - $90,000 with additional variable compensation through commission.
