About the Role:

Beyond routine departmental assignments, you also need to effectively collaborate with multiple layers of management, vendors, suppliers, and owners. This position reports to our Facilities Manager, an indisputable industry expert and people-first person with nearly 20 years of experience in the commercial equipment and HVAC service industry. There is also a dotted line report to the VP, Facilities & Construction who has tenured 19 years with Pluckers, growing our concept from 3 locations to 34 locations. Both leaders love teaching and are excited to share their love of the industry with another eager beaver.  

We will teach you basics about restaurant operations, how to effectively manage workflows in Corrigo, and techniques to prioritizing tasks and putting out fires.  By showing off your Impeccable self-motivation, attention to detail, time-management and organization skills, you’ll help put Pluckers on the map as the standard for managing restaurant facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, triage and assign work orders in Corrigo on a daily basis for rapid response times
  • Work diligently and creatively with peers, suppliers, management and others to resolve problems
  • Review estimates, quotes, and invoice billing for repair and maintenance items, resolve any discrepancies
  • Monitor equipment performance, routine maintenance, and warranties
  • Complete other duties to advance projects or resolve business issues as needed
  • Offer technical support and training resources for operators
  • Emergency Support, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and demands simultaneously
  • Highly self-motivated with exceptional organization, time management and attention to detail
  • Effective communicator who collaborates with confidence and a sense of urgency across all levels of management
  • Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with commitment to excellence and high quality standards
  • Dedicated to fostering a culture of responsiveness, transparency, and reliability in all partnerships
  • Eager to learn and receptive to feedback that drives continuous improvement
  • Capable of answering calls from after hour emergency hotline 7 days per month
  • Flexibility to periodically travel for overnight stay to restaurant locations in Texas
  • Must be able to work in-office daily in Austin, TX
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
  • Knowledge of Corrigo or similar CMMS is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic functions of building systems is a plus

Hours and Work Environment:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.  Additional hours may be required.
  • Position will be based in our corporate office in downtown Austin (this is not a remote position). Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year depending on experience.
