The Central Team Leader of Recruitment plans and directs the recruitment strategy at Life.Church. This role is primarily responsible for casting vision and setting the strategy for the Recruitment team, as well as partnering with key stakeholders and teams to ensure progress on our recruitment priorities in the church. This role will oversee the development of strategic initiatives, KPI’s and talent / marketing strategies for Life.Church and YouVersion and will ensure that the recruitment programs are designed in a way that upholds the culture and ministry of Life.Church. This role will also oversee all hiring policies in respect to compliance local and federal regulations.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with Central Group Leader, Staff Operations on the overall leadership and direction of the Recruitment and Staff Operations team.
- Meet with direct reports regularly to provide support by coaching and setting expectations.
- Create development plans for team and assist them in achieving desired goals.
- Analyze talent market trends and competitive intelligence to inform recruitment strategies.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for recruitment effectiveness (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, diversity metrics).
- Present regular talent acquisition insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and direction for hiring leaders and staff for the recruitment process (from talent identification all the way to hire).
- Set the vision for the strategy for recruitment platforms such as Findem, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Indeed.
- Partner with key stakeholders to lead the team to engage in Career Fairs and other recruitment specific events.
- Lead the Global Interview Event weekends.
- Lead team to build and maintain strategic talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Own and evolve the employer value proposition and recruitment marketing strategy.
- Develop relationships with universities, professional associations, and diverse talent networks.
- Create and oversee employee referral program strategy.
- Design and optimize end-to-end recruitment processes for consistency and candidate experience.
- Own the recruitment tech stack strategy and vendor relationships (ATS optimization, assessment tools, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations across recruiting practices.
Skills Needed to Succeed
- Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and problem solve with innovation.
- Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
- Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure and provide vision to projects.
- Strong leadership skills and understanding on developing and guiding others
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7+ years of related work experience in recruiting, Human Resources and/or marketing, preferred.
