About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Lead to join our Office of the President in New York. This role will be pivotal in driving execution across Pagaya’s commercial strategy and monetization efforts. You will work closely with senior leaders, including our Head of Monetization to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver on high-impact initiatives across our priority asset classes: personal loans/fintech marketplaces, indirect auto, and point of sale.
This is a high-visibility role requiring strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can operate independently with sound judgment, and has demonstrated success driving initiatives from strategy through execution.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to aid executives in strategic decision-making
- Create and implement the annual business plan and budgets, working closely with the Commercial leadership team
- Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials (decks, notes, write-ups, etc.) that effectively communicate business performance, financial drivers, risks, and opportunities to leadership and external stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally to assess and manage financial performance and to streamline implementation of initiatives, processes, and systems
- Do an environmental scan and monitor key trends in the industry and economy.
- Track our partners, peers and other stakeholders for significant events and themes
- Monitor KPIs and highlight significant variations, root causes and corrective actions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A, corporate development, capital markets, consulting, high-growth companies, or other relevant fields.
- Strong analytical skills, including comfort with financial modeling, data analysis, and translating insights into recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual), with experience preparing executive-level presentations/decks.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with senior executives and cross-functional partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Collaborative team player with strong emotional intelligence and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail – output is consistently accurate, thorough, and completed within deadlines
- Ability to organize and analyze data sets and present in an understandable manner
The pay ranges for New York-based hires are commensurate with candidate experience.
Pay ranges for candidates working in locations other than New York may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
Compensation Range for New York Based Hires
$160,000 - $185,000 USD
