Backcountry is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an A+ Content specialist. An A+ Content Specialist focuses on creating, optimizing, and managing enhanced brand content on Backcountry sites and Amazon to improve product listings, drive conversions, and ensure brand consistency. 
  
This position will report into the A+ Content Manager.

What you get to do:

    • Develop strategy and roll out plan for broad A+ content coverage across Backcountry sites and Amazon, create, edit, and maintain engaging product detail page A+ content modules, including consolidated product selling points, wireframe decision, graphics, comparison charts, rich media. 
    • Optimize all content for SEO to maximize visibility and convert more shoppers. 
    • Collaborate closely with designers to produce compelling product imagery and infographics for A+ content and stores. 
    • Ensure consistency with brand voice, messaging, and both Backcountry and Amazon guidelines across all product listings and stores. 
    • Manage projects from concept to go live, balancing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, digital retail environment. 
    • Perform keyword research and leverage third-party SEO tools to guide content strategy. 
    • Audit, analyze, and update content regularly to maintain high performance and compliance with Backcountry and Amazon standards. 
    • Utilize AI-powered marketing tools to automate campaign tasks, enable content generation at scale, and assist in performance analysis and strategy creation.   
    • Other duties as assigned.  

What you bring:

    • Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities. 
    • Proficiency with Amazon Seller Central and A+ Content Manager tools. 
    • Strong organization and multitasking skills. 
    • Experience trialing AI tools to drive efficiency and company revenue. 
    • Understanding of e-commerce product content, SEO, and visual branding. 
    • Ability to work independently, collaborate well across teams, and handle client-facing communication

Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2+ years in Amazon content management, copywriting, or e-commerce content creation. 
    • Familiarity with digital asset management systems and e-commerce platforms. 
    • Design and graphic editing experience is a plus for handling multimedia A+ modules.
