Sr. Director of Treasury

Relocation support will be offered.
As a key member of the Finance leadership team, the Sr. Director of Treasury will manage all financial resources for company including the annual collection of ~$2.5B in donations, managing and investing ~$600M in working capital, and $1B of transfers to the hospital and millions of dollars in transfers to the Investment Portfolio.   Using advanced knowledge of treasury, accounting, audit and investing, this role directs the company Treasury team to manage banking relationships, cash conversion cycle, short term investing, cash optimization through forecasting, and borrowing strategies.
Position Details:
Directs a team of individual contributors, bankers and investors to manage the daily activity including relationship management, regulatory compliance and efficient/effective day to day treasury operations.
Considering the mid-term and long term future performance of the company, this role will lead the optimization of cash resources through forecasts of future financial position by analyzing the organization's financial records, managing ~$600M of working capital and $1B transfers to the primary investment portfolio to ensure there is adequate funding for fundraising operations and supporting the daily needs of the SJCRH mission (Cash optimization).
Develops detailed cash flow reporting and analysis including draws from the hospital and excess cash from company operations to ensure short and long-term funding needs are met. Reports and recommendations are prepared or company Board members, Executives, the Audited Financial Statements and IRS form 990 to ensure compliance with Board authorizations, the effective and efficient use of internal controls and accurate recorded transactions to mitigate financial risk.
Manages the cash conversion cycle for company including analysis and review of all operating cash, including all forms of donations and disbursements (Credit Card payments and donations, lock box operations, multiple Fintech platforms, cash and wire transactions).
Directs the external lines of credit, monitors rates and analyzes the amounts needed to provide optimal overnight lending rates. provides recommendation on use of lines of credit and access to borrowing.
Ensures an efficient and effective banking structure to support the organization's overall operations through overseeing operational and strategic projects including acceptable forms of collection such as crypto currency, cash apps, wire transfers, on-line payment methods and any other new payment types that evolve over time.
Strategically manages excess cash from operations in the form of short-term investing, collaborates with the company Investments team to ensure medium and longer term cash needs are met.
Lead the execution of working capital strategies and banking solutions for the organization that drive improved cash forecasting and risk management of the collection process for all donations.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of experience required. Master's Degree preferred.
Requires significant knowledge in Treasury, Banking, working capital and cash flow management, Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience in Not-for-Profit organizations highly preferred.
CTP or CPA License highly preferred.
