As a Tax Associate you will be responsible for: Preparation of individual, estate and fiduciary tax returns for US and non-US residents under the supervision of senior staff. Mostly servicing entrepreneurs and co-founders of our corporate clients with net worth over $10M. Participation in tax planning and consultation process for clients through close collaborations with tax lawyers and wealth management firms. Preparation of international tax forms, including 5471, 8865, 8858, 114 (no worries, we will show you the ropes). Requirements If you have: Education: At least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, a related field or working towards completion Entry-Level Experience: At least 1-2 years of general tax or accounting experience to build a foundation in taxation Technical skills: Be adept at using tax software and accounting tools, such as international tax compliance software and Microsoft Excel Develop the ability to identify and address complex international tax issues and propose practical solutions Soft Skills: An appeal to work in autonomy but with taste for team' spirit. An ability to respect deadlines or communicate in advance if not doable. Collaborate with colleagues from various departments within the organization to provide holistic solutions to clients. Uphold high ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality. Continuously Eager to Learn Exercises Professional Skepticism Exceptional Communication Skills Working towards CPA is a plus.
