What weβre looking for
As a Senior Loyalty Strategist at Massive Rocket, you will lead the development of loyalty and retention strategies that drive long term customer value for our clients. You will own the end to end strategic process, from diagnosing loyalty challenges, to designing best in class programmes, propositions and membership structures, to defining the activation, engagement and personalisation roadmap needed to grow customer lifetime value.
You will work closely with CRM, data and technology teams to translate loyalty strategies into actionable plans that can be executed within platforms such as Braze and Snowflake, as well as loyalty platforms such as TalonOne, SessionM, Marigold and Open Loyalty or similar. You will partner with clients to shape their loyalty vision, define measurable objectives, outline programme governance and support business cases that justify investment. You will present recommendations to senior stakeholders with a clear narrative that connects customer insights, commercial impact and operational feasibility.
As a senior member of the strategy team, you will contribute to thought leadership, deepen our loyalty consultancy offering and support pitches by crafting compelling stories using data, insight and loyalty best practice. You will run client workshops across loyalty design, customer segmentation, value exchanges, earn and burn mechanics, emotional loyalty levers and cross channel engagement to ensure clients understand how to build meaningful customer relationships that deliver ROI.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in CRM, loyalty or customer strategy, with at least 4 years focused specifically on loyalty programme design, optimisation or consultancy.
- Proven experience creating or scaling loyalty programmes, including programme structures, tiers, rewards, value propositions, engagement mechanics and retention strategies.
- Experience presenting complex strategies, translating goals and insights into value propositions and connecting your strategy to achievable and coherent activation plans.
- Strong understanding of CRM and MarTech platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or HubSpot and the ability to translate loyalty strategies into actionable journeys and communications.
- Hands on experience or strong familiarity with loyalty platforms such as TalonOne, SessionM, Marigold, Open Loyalty or similar and the ability to integrate loyalty programme design with these technologies.
- Strong understanding of industry leading loyalty programmes and mechanisms, with awareness of high performing global loyalty programmes, membership models and best practice approaches across sectors.
- Experience using data, segmentation and analytics to identify loyalty opportunities, diagnose programme performance and shape next best actions and customer lifecycle strategies.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, able to turn complex insights and frameworks into clear, persuasive narratives for senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agency or consultancy environment, managing multiple clients and leading strategic work streams in a fast paced environment.
- Deep understanding of loyalty trends, emotional and behavioural loyalty drivers, membership models, gamification and value exchange design.
- English at C1 level.
- Ability and willingness to travel to client locations.

- Braze Certifications ( i.e Marketer, Strategist)
- Experience working with Braze, demonstrating proficiency in utilising its features
- Familiarity with CDPs such as Treasure Data, mParticle, Segment or Tealium
- Experience supporting RFPs, pitches or strategic consulting engagements
