Share this job SVGs not supported by this browser. Description Position Overview Vivo Energy Madagascar is hiring a Territory Manager to manage and develop Retailers in his designated zone. Territory Manager plays a critical role in managing growth of market share and retail site development potential, in maximize Retail sites’ profitability and ensuring retailers implement all areas of the Customer Commitment and ensure compliance with the Site quality standards. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage the daily supply of sites to ensure required minimum stock. Maximize all sales development potential through the implementation of an appropriate action plan in line with Vivo Energy’s policy. Manage and maintain positive relationships with Retailers, helping them achieve and sustain top performance at their sites through advice, coaching, motivation, and engagement. Ensure Retailer meets the financial performance criteria: profitability, return on investment, acceptable levels of cash and working capital. Ensure that Retailers implement management, monitoring, and control tools for each Service Station Support retailers in training and developing their staff using the tools, processes, and materials recommended by Vivo Energy. Ensure at any time that Service Stations are ready to properly receive customers according to the company's standards. Ensure that managers implement all customer commitment requirements and adhere to site standards, contracts, and operation manuals, as well as maintain Hygiene, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Support the recruitment, selection, and development of retail managers and staff. Develop and maintain a strong HSSE culture within geographical areas Actively contribute to Operational Excellence objectives and projects Requirements Qualifications, Skills & Experience Masters degree in Sales/ Marketing or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in a role related to retail or sales operations. Prior experience in managing retail operations is a plus. Proven sales and commercial acumen; understanding of market dynamics is essential. Proven negotiation skills Effective coaching and team-building skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Strong results-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities. Market awareness with solid contacts in the territory Ability to analyze consumer, customer, and category data to develop strategic business insights. Skilled in performance management and customer service processes. Expertise in pricing strategies and retailer value proposition In-depth understanding of retail economics and operational principles.
