Description The QA Technician will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and ensuring that all products and processes meet food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with production and sanitation teams to maintain compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Monitor adherence to GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and company policies. Conduct inspections of equipment, production lines, and packaging processes. Document and report non-conformances, assist in root cause analysis, and support corrective actions. Collect and analyze samples to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Collaborate with production supervisors and sanitation staff to ensure consistent quality standards. Maintain accurate and organized QA records and reports. Requirements Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required, associate or bachelorâs degree. preferred. Previous experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations (FDA/USDA). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, QA software).
