Overview

Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) seeks a Quality Assurance Officer (QAO) that will responsible for implementing BCC’s Quality Management Plan and ensuring that all deliverables under the ITCMSS III program meet ISO 9001 and CMMI Level 3 standards.

 Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct proactive threat-hunting and incident response
  • Develop and update QMP aligned with Task 1.5.1.7
  • Performs QA reviews
  • Review all deliverables for accuracy and validation per ISO 9001/CMMI compliance
  • Track corrective actions, performance metrics, and process improvements
  • Coordinate with PM and technical leads on quality audits

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 + years of QA/QC experience supporting federal IT or cybersecurity programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (5 yrs exp = degree equiv.)
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, CMMI, and federal reporting practices
  • Public Trust eligibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CQA, CMQ/OE, or equivalent certification
  • Experience supporting DoD quality programs
  • Experience handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) at minimum
  • Experience supporting DoD quality programs

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and location. The targeted range for this position is $125,000 - $165,000.
