We are hiring a Security Job Site Supervisor to provide Security for an Industrial Manufacturing Plant located in: Owensboro, KY
 
$4.50 to $5.50 per hour
 
Open & Closing Dates: 11/01/2025 to 12/15/2025

Duties

    • (Leadership & Supervision)
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of all security guards or officers on-site.
    • Assign daily posts and patrols, ensuring full coverage of all security zones.
    • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance of the security staff.
    • Conduct briefings at the start of each shift to communicate duties, updates, and safety concerns.
    • Provide training and coaching to new or existing guards on security procedures and customer service.

    • (Site Security Operations)
    • Ensure protection of property, personnel, and visitors by enforcing security rules and regulations.
    • Oversee patrols and surveillance of buildings, access points, and perimeters.
    • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking immediate corrective action.
    • Verify identification and manage access control for employees, contractors, and visitors.
    • Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment (if applicable).
    • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

    • (Reporting & Documentation)
    • Prepare daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs.
    • Document any irregularities, such as trespassing, theft, or property damage.
    • Submit reports to the security manager or client representative.
    • Keep records of visitor logs, key control, and equipment use.

    • (Compliance & Safety)
    • Ensure all security officers comply with site policies, safety rules, and post orders.
    • Conduct inspections of security posts, gates, and equipment to verify functionality.
    • Enforce health and safety procedures (e.g., fire safety, emergency evacuation).
    • Identify security risks or vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

    • (Communication & Coordination)
    • Act as the main point of contact between the client, site management, and the security company.
    • Attend coordination meetings with management or other site supervisors.
    • Communicate effectively with team members about incidents, updates, or policy changes.

    • (Administrative & Logistical Duties)
    • Manage schedules, rotations, and shift coverage to avoid gaps in security.
    • Request and manage security equipment or uniforms as needed.
    • Ensure incident records and access logs are properly maintained and confidential.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional Security experience serving as a Security Contract Manager, Security Job Site Supervisor, Security General Manager, or Security District Manager.
    • 5 + years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military (preferred)
    • Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (preferred)
    • Unarmed positions - no firearm license required
    • Excellent communication, situational awareness, and reliability
    • Must pass a background check and Citadel Security USA onboarding
    • Professional appearance (tan pants, black boots, Citadel uniform shirt provided)
    • Must be able and or willing to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
$24.50 - $25.50 an hour
