Responsibilities: Partner with CAD Director and Design to drive and develop new print collection for each delivery per season. Create Original Artwork (prints & embroideries) for Dresses & separates. Create multiple colorways of prints to fit into seasonal color stories. Scanning and cleaning purchased prints and vintage artwork, color matching, putting prints into repeat, and color reducing artwork for production. Rework print layouts to fit garment patterns for production orders. Communicate back and forth with overseas mills regarding artworks for development Track all artwork developed within CAD department. Interpret seasonal fashion direction and merchandise trends as appropriate for the brand. Understand how the customer is responding to trends by reviewing selling and creating new and updated prints that support your research. Create print boards for showroom appointments Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in womenâs apparel specifically in the Print/Textile /CAD departments. Strong color & print sense. Strong English language skills, both written and verbal. Strong organization and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and multitask. Technical knowledge of fabric construction. Strong understanding of print layouts and building repeats. Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, and Microsoft Office suite. *Online Portfolio / Samples of work required for consideration* The annual salary range for this full-time position is dependent upon experience between $85,000-$100,000.
