Description About the position The Digital Expert will develop, maintain and enhance a digital platform capable of aggregating and disseminating climate hazard information. Responsibilities include a review of local and regional systems and technologies, designing data architecture and localized data integration, development of end-user training modules and ensuring user-friendly interfaces and reliable system performance. Main responsibilities : Assess current systems and technology successfully delivering climate hazard warnings. Design data flow and platform configuration to ensure a user-friendly interface Provide recommendations on appropriate data collection based on platform and data flow design. Oversee testing, troubleshooting, and training. Perform maintenance to ensure continuous operation. Requirements Desired experience and qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in website and digital tool development and data integration. Previous experience in the development of digital early warning technologies is highly valuable. Previous experience in implementing donor-funded projects. Apply for this job
