About the Role
USVC is building a retail brand for venture capital. We're on a mission to make startup investing accessible to millions of people who have historically been locked out of the asset class. The GTM Lead will serve as the co-founder for growth: a full‑spectrum brand and performance marketer focused on building a durable franchise.
You’ll own the full growth marketing stack across brand and performance. You’ll be responsible for building the USVC brand, leading investor education, and cultivating awareness and engagement via , partners, and other approved channels. You will steward the entire marketing funnel, in close collaboration with product, legal, and compliance. Your remit includes all direct-response levers as well as brand storytelling.
This is a senior, high-trust role. You must be deeply fluent in the compliance frameworks surrounding marketing for fintech products involving securities offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Drive user growth across direct and partner channels to hit user growth and AUM targets
- Build and execute full-funnel growth strategy across brand, performance, and lifecycle
- Own messaging and creative development for and external campaigns
- Launch and optimize paid acquisition across search, social, display, and emerging platforms
- Develop and scale referral and influencer programs to drive high-intent traffic
- Manage PR, podcast, and earned media efforts to drive top-of-funnel awareness
- Lead experimentation for on-site conversion; collaborate closely with Product on user journey
- Manage and mentor the Distribution team responsible for partner channels
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, with leadership in a high-compliance fintech environment
- Proven track record scaling consumer brands and delivering measurable growth
- Deep familiarity with SEC compliance for performance marketing
- Ownership mindset: you see yourself as accountable for results, not just inputs
- Excellent judgment: you know where the lines are, when to escalate, and how to protect the company while shipping fast
- Comfortable working from 0 – this is not an incremental role
- Exceptional communication skills; you know how to tell a story, not just run an ad
- Leadership experience: you’ve built or managed high-performing marketing teams
