Purpose & Objective
The Buyer will play a key role in driving AMIRI’s global merchandising strategy across both men’s and women’s categories – including ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories. This role will partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Design, and Retail teams to develop and execute seasonal assortments that align with brand vision and business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical acumen with a deep understanding of the luxury market, product trends, and consumer behavior. They possess exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional product experience.

Product Strategy & Selection:

    • Partner with Design and Merchandising to develop seasonal buys that reflect brand DNA and meet sales and margin goals.
    • Analyze historical performance to inform future assortment decisions.
    • Balance creativity and commerciality across collections.

Business Analysis & Reporting:

    • Pull, maintain, and analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales reports across categories, channels, and regions.
    • Identify business trends, best sellers, and opportunities for growth or optimization.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, data-driven presentations.

Assortment Management:

    • Build and maintain accurate seasonal buy sheets and assortment plans.
    • Partner with Planning and Allocation teams to ensure appropriate depth, flow, and timing of product deliveries.
    • Monitor product lifecycle from launch to markdown to ensure efficient inventory management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with E-Commerce, Retail, and Marketing to align product strategies across all DTC touchpoints.
    • Support retail and digital merchandising initiatives by providing product and performance insights.

Operational Excellence:

    • Maintain high standards of accuracy across reporting, systems, and internal communications.
    • Size and input orders on-time ensuring accuracy.
    • Manage the order bible, collection toolkits, and shipping schedule in collaboration with Operations and Production.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
    • 3–5 years of buying or merchandising experience, preferably in a luxury or contemporary
    • fashion environment.
    • Strong Excel skills – including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
    • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Experience preparing presentations and reports for leadership.
    • Passion for the AMIRI brand and understanding of the luxury consumer mindset.
$85,000 - $95,000 a year
