Each team member has the flexibility to choose where they work most effectively each week—whether that's from home, a coffee shop, or the office. While flexibility is key, we also value the power of in-person connection. That’s why we bring our corporate team together in Lincoln each quarter for a week of intentional collaboration, team building, community engagement, and our All-Hands meeting. It’s the best of both worlds: the freedom to work your way, with meaningful opportunities to connect and grow together. We're seeking an experienced, data-driven leader to completely own the vision and roadmap for our dynamic pricing systems, driving significant bottom-line profitability and brand growth. This role requires 8+ years of operational leadership and 5+ years of retail pricing mastery to establish a Pricing Center of Excellence through rigorous testing, analysis, and detail-oriented execution. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics (SQL, data visualization) to set strategy, mentor a team, and forge critical cross-functional partnerships to ensure P&L impact.

How you will achieve success:

    • Own the Future Pricing System: Act as a builder and owner of the entire pricing system (descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive), defining the roadmap and vision to ensure the system adds bottom-line profit and drives brand growth.
    • Establish Management Systems & KPIs: Create the operational management systems, KPIs, management reporting, and daily/weekly/monthly rhythms for the team, focusing on managing by exception and building a Pricing Center of Excellence.
    • Drive Detail-Oriented Execution: Lead the team in daily SKU-level review deep dives (100+ SKUs/day) to validate system performance, ensure proper intentions are met, and provide critical feedback to Business Intelligence and Software teams.
    • Dynamic Strategy & Testing: Develop, implement, and refine dynamic pricing strategies aligned with company goals. Establish a robust test-and-learn environment by developing and validating hypotheses using rigorous data-based approaches (e.g., Randomized A/B tests).
    • Reporting, Analysis, and Documentation: Drive actual-to-goal reporting and gap analysis; own the tracking and reporting of performance metrics. Create and maintain full, clear documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pricing systems and operations.
    • Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership: Manage and mentor the Pricing Team, fostering growth and execution. Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Finance, Software & Technology (owning the pricing product roadmap), Business Intelligence, and other key divisions.

What experiences will help you in this role:

    • Executive Operations Leadership: 8+ years of experience running Operational, BizOps, or Strategy & Operations teams within a fast-paced environment.
    • Retail Pricing Mastery: 5+ years of dedicated, progressive experience in Retail Pricing, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape.
    • Data & Analytics Proficiency: Exceptional data analytics skills including advanced proficiency in Excel, 5+ years building and modifying SQL queries, and 5+ years building and consuming data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    • P&L Ownership: Demonstrated P&L ownership mindset with a clear understanding of how pricing and purchasing actions directly relate to financial performance and profitability.
    • Leadership & Team Building: Proven leadership experience and the ability to drive significant results through effective team management, mentorship, and development.
    • Foundational Education: Educational background in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
